'POOR' LAMPARD TO LIVE ON BREAD AND BUTTER ALONE

No, wait.

He's being paid a mere
£100K PER WEEK (294,103 SING DOLLARS).

Maybe too much bread and butter for you ain't good, Frank....

Still, he's complaining! From Football365's famous sarcastic editor:

The unfortunate Frank Lampard has been told by Chelski that he will be forced to endure life's daily obstacles with the financial clout of a mere £100,000-a-week.
The pauper had been hoping to secure a new contract with Chelski that would put him on parity with the club's highest earners. Both of the Premiership champions major summer signings, Michael Ballack and Andriy Shevchenko, are reputedly earning £130,000-a-week.

However, Lampard's hopes have been dashed with Chelski displaying little indication to discuss a new deal with the England midfielder who has three years remaining on his present contract.

'Steve Kutner, the England midfield player's agent, claimed before the World Cup that a new deal would be in place before the start of the Barclays Premiership season but substantive talks have yet to take place,' reports The Times.

Chelski have, however, found time to offer William Gallas a new four-year contract.

Drogballs: Cracks showing up in the evil Russian empire? Certainly. Duff left for the greener pastures up north. Drogba sounded like he misses his mam a lot and Crespo thinks that the yatch, houses and money that Abramovich throws at him can't buy back his love for Italy. Let's see how good Mourinho is at juggling with the multi million squad and continue to be the clown of the English Premiership.
