Biggest Transfer Shock This Season....

now..take a deep breath...

Patrick Vieira To Liverpool?

Liverpool are being linked with Juventus midfielder Patrick Vieira.

Vieira's blow-up with Juve teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the training ground yesterday and the poor press he's received in Italy has led to speculation that he is angling for a return to the Premiership.

Liverpool have made enquiries about the Frenchman's situation this week and Juve director general Luciano Moggi hasn't ruled out selling the midfielder.

It's also emerged that during the talks Moggi again asked Liverpool about Steven Gerrard, who only last night reaffirmed his commitment to Anfield.

Drogballs: Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Hamann...do we still need another central midfielder? And if Juventus are up to their 'Give us Gerrard, we give you Vieira' deal...then piss off!

Bad News To Arse Fans...And Your Promised Rooney Lookalike!

Firstly, I've Found Him!

Bad News Arsenal Fans...Winning It Might NOT Be Enough (If This Is Not A Hoax)

Geneva, Thursday 27th April, 13:30 CET

UEFA have just ruled that if Tottenham Hotspur finish in the final champions league qualifiying spot, they will go into the competition and not Arsenal - even if they win it.

After the debacle with Everton and Liverpool last season, UEFA have now made a U-turn regarding qualification.

I don't really know if this is true, or someone just made it up. Let's wait for some footie sites with more reliable source to post it up. Updates soon.

Sexist Warning: Funny Comparison Between Ladies And Football Teams (From F365, Not Me!)
Birmingham - Pamela Anderson:
Used to look good in the cups but now a declining force. Plus millions of people watched them get a good seeing to.

Wigan - Davina McCall:
Poor attendances confirm they've been promoted above their ability.

Portsmouth - Girls Aloud:
Only one real class act among the hastily assembled line-up. You shouldn't like them but admit it, you've sneaked the occasional admiring glance.

Sunderland - Kerry Katona:
Once the people's favourite but now an embarrassment. Fun while it lasted - now disappear from where you came, please.

Tottenham - Keira Knightley:
Undeniably easy on the eye with an attractive English spine. And proof that two little ones up front needn't be an drawback.

Everton - Dannii Minogue:
The poor relation to the more glamorous sibling. Can anyone remember when it was they were supposed to be any good?

Fulham - Charlotte Church:
Proof that money can't buy you class. But could look more attractive if the Welsh bloke was given the elbow.

Arsenal - Jordan:
Were more likeable when they weren't packed out with expensive foreign implants.

Newcastle - Jodie Marsh:
Impressive front two but embarrassing at the back. Had surgery but need a lot more work to compete at a higher level.

Aston Villa - Dido:
Bland, boring and still trading off the one big hit they had years ago.

Liverpool - Sophie Ellis-Bextor:
Individually all the components look great but stick them together and it just doesn't work.

Chelsea - Rachel Stevens:
You'd rather just watch them than listen to all that painful whining.

Bolton - Clare Balding:
You wouldn't. Not even if they were the last team on earth.

Manchester United - Catherine Zeta Jones:
Used to look great until they were shafted by an old fat American with too much money.

Manchester City - Kate Moss
Massive in her own mind, but really a bit thin on the ground.

Middlesbrough - Jane Berkin
Unknown at home in England, but massive in Europe.

And Finally....
Congratulations to Middlesbrough. Doing an impossible comeback for once is quite a feat, but doing it twice in the same competition is quite something. Go on and win it then. Cheers!

A Small Little Update....

I'm a little lazy tonight. So no football updates! (Hurray girls!) haha! So i was late for school today by around...20minutes. Not surprisingly the lecturer couldn't give a toss. But travelling from home to NP does suck sometimes, especially on rainy days. Thursday's timetables a little unique. There wont be a break from 12-1pm but the day's lesson end at 1pm.

So made my way down to the Thomson macs to meet Alina up for lunch. As usual comment on Newpaper stories, talk rubbish and she spilled some of her sec1 secret! HAHA. SCREAM ALINA!! oops...was tempted to post her retarded photo..but she warned me that her face sells, so I might end up on Newpaper soon if i post.

Ah well, i shall go back and play Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I actually saw a dude that looks like Wayne Rooney!! I MUST find that guy and get his pictures up here!!

REDS in Carlsberg Advertisement

Saw it on Channel 5 the other day. Quite..silly actually and the Singapore version doesn't have the "proud sponsor of Liverpool Football Club". Starring Steven Gerrard, Jose Reina, Djibril Cisse, Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso.

YouTube Galore, Barca To Meet Arse

West Ham 1-2 Liverpool (Cisse 2)

Surprise! Cisse actually scored TWO goals! I'm surprised if he scores 1, but he scored 2 in a match. Not too bad for a...erm 14million pound striker. But still, OUT YOU GO CISSE. Haha! Liverpool made 8 changes to the team that beaten Chelsea and included players like Dudek, Kromkamp and TRAORE...oh dear what a nigtmare. But they still managed to beat West Ham away from home. But the talking point was actually the sending off of Luis Garcia and Hayden Mullins. Watch the video below and judge yourself.

How was that a red card? For both? Referees nowadays sure do know how to get attention.

West Ham United: Walker, Ward, Collins, Ferdinand, Scaloni, Etherington, Mullins, Reo Coker, Benayoun, Sheringham, Zamora. Subs - Ephraim, Fletcher, Harewood, Hislop, Reid

Liverpool: Dudek, Warnock, Carragher, Traore, Finnan, Cisse, Hamann, Sissoko, Kromkamp, Fowler, Morientes. Subs - Alonso, Garcia, Hyypia, Reina, Riise

Barce
lona 0-0 AC Milan

(Barcelona Through to CL Finals with 1-0 Aggregate)

So after a hard fought game, Barcelona went through and advance to the Champions League Finals after holding AC Milan to a goal-less draw at Nou Camp. Barca went into the game having a 1 away goal advantage, and their aim of the match was simple. Control the match, the tempo, and cautious. So congratulations Barcelona and Arsenal. What a match the Finals gonna be!

Barcelona: Valdes, Belleti, Edmilson, Marques, Puyol, Iniesta, Deco, Giuly, Van Bronckhorst, Ronaldinho, Eto'o.

Milan: Dida, Serginho, Kaladze, Costacurta, Jaap Stam, Gattuso, Kaka, Pirlo, Seedorf, Inzaghi, Shevchenko.

Have A Laugh...

This was taken from a recent division 2 match, I must say this own goal is...hilarious. So take a break, watch the video and laugh out loud!

Surely that hurts! It hit him right in the face! Haha!

Anyway more updates tonight! NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! HOORAYY!

Riquelme Bottled It, Praise Be To Henry, But Wenger......

Arsenal 0-0 Villarreal

So Juan Riquelme got a penalty in the very last minute of the game, harshly, then giving the very nervy face, stepped up..and yea, he missed. Ahh, well. It was a really really open game, in fact one of the most one sided semi finals i have ever witnessed. Villarreal stacked almost up to 5 people in Arsenal's half and camped throughout the match. But poor finishing and lack of composure costs Villarreal more than dearly. The dude..erm i think his name is Guillermo Franco, missed 2 glorious chances and ought to be shot. So they hung on, and are in the Finals of th Champions League '06, to gay Paris! Good luck Gunners, all the best when facing either Ronaldinho or Shevchenko.

And What Of Henry......
He deserved all my respect, the egg-head assasin. He pulled 2 commentators from SkySports and instead of saying how happy he is with the results, he in turn gave Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard his praise. He said how Stevie G was an inspiration to him and how much he deserved the PFA Player of the Year award. Cheers Thierry H. Wouldn't want to see you in blue and red stripes! Not that soon though! And..reminded me of something. Anybody remember Stevie G's assist to him when L'Pool lost 2-1 to Arsenal...........no wonder he praised him..............

Wenger, Oh Wenger.......
How times change. Says Arsene Wenger in April 2005:

"The championship is the only competition where the quality of the team is reflected after 38 games. The Champions League has now completely become a cup competition. Everybody can win it. Last year you had Porto and Monaco. Every year you will have two different teams in the final because it is so open. It's like last year, when Millwall were in the FA Cup final. Next year, you could have Coventry."

Judging by last night's performance, that's exactly who we do have.

Drogballs: So this is the one person that be-littled success in cup games. And how these words might come back and haunt him. I think if Arsenal's not in the Finals, their season would be described in a word, disappointing.

So What Did I Do.........
I know, i know. This update is a little late. I was in school almost the whole day, then met Alina for dinner at Dino....so she ( or was it me?) that suggested catching a movie..since we've got nothing to do. Actually we're heading for AMK alrdy, but she said she dont know where's TPY's Courts as she's gonna work there on Friday. So as a very nice person (*cough*), i suggested we go TPY Central and look for it, while we cld catch a movie over there, one stone, 2 birds, more birds more luck..........oh out of point. Anyway found it without much trouble, not as deep into the Central as we thought, so we catched the Hongkong movie, "Elections 2". Overall....not too bad la. Some scenes made me chukle while some made her sqiurm like a worm(I SHALL NOT SPOIL). If only it was of a bigger gang war. Seemed to me that it was a gang of 10 vs a gang of 12. HAHA.

More updates to follow tomorrow, including AC Milan vs Barcelona and Liverpool vs West Ham Utd. Cya !

Apologies....

Not gonna do the Arsenal vs Villarreal match preview tonight. Argh! Not feeling well, having a little sore in the throat and a little dizzy as well. Maybe I'm still not used to waking up at 8am everyday, having 'jet-lag', waking up at 12-1pm during the holidays. Haha I'm off to drink some water before going to bed. take care guys! The weather is still quite erratic nowadays, so hot in the morning, torrential rain in the evening. urgh! Alright Drogballs out.

Happy First Month!....Oh....

Not like i have a girlfrield and its our one month anniversary. Haha! Its just that The Red Cauldron is one month old! Looking back a little bit, times does seemed to fly. It's only the first month, but I hope i can continue to enthrall you guys with the lamest funniest and cheesiest football matters! Interested or not...up to you. But don't run away yes! Haha thanks for your support within this 1 month!

--That's why we 'ave the best fan in the woorlddd!
Saw this video taken on a handphone during the last few seconds of Chelsea vs Liverpool game and some post match celebration. He's sitting at the Liverpool fan's corner. I wonder if we'll go deaf sitting among this fanatics. I personally won't mind! Anyway i would advise you to watch the last half of the video. They're singing some really weird Rafa Benitez song.

below is something I've found from Football365 forums:

--Footballers Deathmatch!
Round 1: Battle of the Keepers

Jose "I'LL PUNCH IT NO MATTER WHAT" Reina (Liverpool)

VS

Jens "Don't step on my toe you twit!" Lehmann (Arsenal)

Final Outcome : Reina would rush out and give Lehmann a punch. Oh and he missed! But then Lehmann went down rolled on the ground holding his foot, then gave an irritated look. So Reina as the last man standing, won!

Round 2: Battle of the Highbury Tunnels

Edgar "They like to bully me" Davids (Spurs)

VS

Arsene "I didn't see it, but you should!" Wenger (Arsenal)

Outcome: Due to Wenger's presence in this competition, we should safely say...we didn't see it! So, nobody knows!

Congratulations Stevie G!

Steven Gerrard wins PFA Player of The Year Award

Captain Steven Gerrard has crowned a brilliant few days for Liverpool by being named Player of the Year by his fellow professionals at the PFA.

He saw off five other contenders Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney and Chelsea’s trio Terry, Cole, Lampard. Rooney was named young player of the year.

It caps a great few days for the club, with the youth team winning the FA Youth Cup on Friday night, the semi final victory over Chelsea on Saturday evening and Gerrard being voted top player on Sunday at the PFA dinner.

Drogballs: I think he fully and truly deserved this award. Led Liverpool into one of the most glorious and wonderful night in European football history, scoring bucketloads of goals from midfield, being played out of position for the sake of Liverpool. Thank you Stevie!

and......don't laugh at the picture below!

Yes that's Stevie G behind Michael 'I want to win more cup, so i went Newcastle' Owen. Taken 10 years ago i believe! '96 FA Youth Cup. AIYO SO CUTE! HAHA

more tonight! ciao.

CHELSKI SPANKED BY LIVERPOOL !

Okay, not REALLY spanked 7-0 or what..but..

Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea (Riise, Garcia)

Something like that la..haha! Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS YOU REDS! WE'RE IN THE FINALS! Beating ManYoo was fun enough, now beating those blue scums feel even better! After that Luis Garcia "goal that never was" controversy, we can finally spit the saliva back at you and say THIS TIME ROUND THE BALL HIT THE BACK OF THE NET PERIOD.

Well, I was pretty surprised by the team selection by Mr Special One...Geremi at right-back while Ferreira on the right wing? What drugs are you on " Special One" ?? The line-up showed that Chelsea played into the hands of Benitez's Liverpool, trying to neutralise Kewell's threat on the left. Fair enough, you anticipated Liverpool's gonna attack from the left. But placing yourself in disadvantage? Shankly once said "You point out the opponent's strong point, but don't put yourself in disadvantage to stop the other team's strong point. Don't let yourself play what they want you to, but let them play what you want them to". And this was what happened. Chelsea played the way Liverpool wanted them to. Keep it tight and narrow in the middle. The better!

Kewell had his best game in Liverpool shirt I believe. He's my Man of the Match, but we should feel sorry for him again this time, he screwed up his groin again. Haha sounds funny...erm okay so Riise scored from a curling freekick that he seldom did, right into the hole in the wall and away from Cudicini. Then a defensive mistake frm Gallas and Ferreira gifted the ball to Luis Garcia, whom from 25yards out, blasted the ball at half volley into the top left corner. GET IN THERE SON! We controlled much of the game..didn't let Chelsea too much chances. All they did in the first half was tonking long balls and Drogba and Crespo..whom were..abit ineffective if used this way. Their breakthrough came from a defensive mistake from Riise and inexperience of Reina, whom nearly punched te living hell out of Drogba. Anyway he anyhow-ly flicked the ball into an empty net. 2-1. The last few minutes was a reminsce of last season's Champions League semi-finals. We're holding on the a really slim lead and Cisse, as usual, shit at holdin up balls, had Chelsea all over in our half, even JOHN TERRY went forward and became a emergency forward. And when Joe Cole got the ball in the 94th minute..my heart sank...and like Gudjohnsen of last season...HE MISSED! and the 5 minutes of hell finally ended...

Football365 Forum Topic: Did Cisse let his child draw all over him?

So you think Mourinho would finallybe gracious in defeat...NO. No such thing from the so called Special One...I think he should be called the Special NEED One..cos he needs psychology attention. I can't comprehend a more BITTER person than him..and a SORE-ER LOSER than him. When he win, he mocks. When he lose, he blames everyone else. Refuses to shake hands with Benitez. Then in the post match interview, went on to spout rubbish about how the best team lost again. What bollocks? Did he watch the match? Or is he obssesed with his scarf more?

"I can't wish Liverpool all the best for the final but I wish them good luck for the Champions League qualifier at the start of next season," added the Chelsea boss.

"I am not worried at all about Liverpool and they have no chance of winning the Premiership title next season. We are 45 points ahead of Liverpool in the Premiership over the last two seasons and they have only beaten us twice in 10 games."

Then went on about how the referee was unfair..yada yada..and scorned us for finishing 3rd. Hello Jose, we've already won one trophy this season and on course for the 2nd. And you? stucked with a bought Premiership title. How he forgot we went on to win the Champions League, something that he couldn't BUY for 300MILLION in 2 seasons..oh bitterness...i hope one day he sees his own folly...or arrogance one day..might destroyed him. or so i hope.

Now i hope we go on to win the FA Cup in Cardiff Millenium...we deserved it. Good job Red man!
