You Thought Football Manager Was Just A Game....

Football Manager Phenomenon Happened In Real Life!

For those of you who have played Football Manager (or FM) on your PC before, you know that some things within that 3D football pitch seemed impossible and unrealistic. Things like Cisse scoring 62 goals in a season will NEVER happen and one of the biggest 'unrealistic' part of the game have to be goalkeeper scoring goals. I bet some of you encountered that before and you'll feel extremely pissed when it happens against you. And you thought that this was just a flaw in the programming of the 3D pitch. Well maybe not. Just maybe these FM programmers know something...

This has to be one of the most dubious goal EVER scored in football. So FM is QUITE realistic after all (;

World Cup Preview:
Group F - Croatia

Goalkeepers: Tomislav Butina (Club Brugge), Stipe Pletikosa (Hajduk Split), Joe Didulica (Austria Vienna);

Defenders: Robert Kovac (Juventus), Stjepan Tomas (Galatasaray), Dario Simic (AC Milan), Mario Tokic (Austria Vienna), Josip Simunic (Hertha Berlin), Igor Tudor (Siena), Marijan Buljat (Dinamo Zagreb);

Midfielders: Jerko Leko (Dynamo Kiev), Niko Kranjcar (Hajduk Split), Niko Kovac (Hertha Berlin), Marko Babic (Bayer Leverkusen), Darijo Srna (Shakhtar Donetsk), Ivan Leko (Club Brugge), Luka Modric (Dinamo Zagreb), Jurica Vranjes (Werder Bremen), Anthony Seric (Panathinaikos);

Strikers: Dado Prso (Rangers), Ivan Klasnic (Werder Bremen), Bosko Balaban (Club Brugge), Ivica Olic (CSKA Moscow), Ivan Bosnjak (Dinamo Zagreb).

Facts:
* Midfielder Niko Kranjcar is under pressure to prove he is not included in the squad just because he is manager Zlatko Kranjcar's son.
* Rangers' Dado Prso will play no part in the pre-tournament friendlies as he makes his comeback from injury.
*Jerko Leko, what a name!
Player(s) To Watch: Dado Prso and Ivan Klasnic. They're not the most talented squad of players, but they work very hard and is a difficult team to beat because of their team-work. Gave Argentina a run of their money few months back.

Youth(s) To Watch: Niko Kranjcar. All the hopes of the Croatians are placed on this young man's shoulder. He's something of a Wayne Rooney to Croatia.

Drogballs' Prediction: Second-Round. Drawn in a group that isn't too tough so I'll expect them to walk through the group together with favourites Brazil.

05/06 Top Liverpool Goal #7: John Arne Riise vs Birmingham City

This goal was scored during Liverpool's 7-0 thrashing of fellow Premiership side and now relegated Birmingham in the FA Cup quater finals. It was a trademark goal from the Norweigian full-back, powering the ball into the top corner of the net and even the Brummies fan stood up and gave an applause.

Quality goal. Getting closer and closer to goal #1! Tomorrow, I will continue.
