WORLD CUP SEMI FINALS PREVIEW
Dortmund
GERMANY vs ITALY
Italy: They will be without injured Alessandro Nesta in the centre-back position. Marco Materazzi, who missed the last game against Ukraine due to injury will set to regain his position back from Andrea Barzagli. Italy might have a slight edge over Germany as they have never been beaten by the Germans in any major tournament YET. Juventus' Mauro Camoranesi is set to return to the squad after missing the training but by the look of things, might be on the bench.
Probable Line-up:
Drogballs' Prediction: Germany 0 - 0 Italy (Italy to win 1-0 after Extra-time). I'll be supporting Germany, but I have a strange feeling that it's gonna be the Italians who will walk away smilling tonight. Their in the same sh*t as they were back in 1982 when they won the World Cup, scandals and players affected. But through adversity they stood united and strong. Will be a very tight match and might just go into extra time.
GERMANY vs ITALY
Germany: They will be without midfield anchorman, Torsten Frings after yet another FIFA t*ts-up, got suspended for an apparent scratch on Julio Cruz face during the aftermath of Argentna vs Germany. Tim Borowski of Werder Breman is set to deputise him in the role. Germany will be the favourites for tonight's game, going into the game on a 5 matches unbeaten run and another fact is that, they have never lost in Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park, winning 13 and drawing 1 in their previous 14 matches. But the record might be broken tonight by a strong Italian squad. Germany's last meeting with Italy was a disastrous one, a 4-1 defeat 4 months ago. They will look to avenged their lost pride and send Germany into their 2nd consecutive World Cup final.
